Ultimate Jerseys

I got to design jerseys for three Ultimate Frisbee teams: the Sea Link Slammers, Bombay Rhinos, and Bombaes. Each team had its own vibe, and the idea was to create something that looked cool and made sense for how they played and saw themselves.

Bombay Rhinos
This was a fresh team entering the Mumbai Ultimate League, and I worked directly with Shruti (team co-owner and all-round legend) to land the look. We went with bright yellow and deep blue, and built this gradient halftone pattern that climbs the jersey. The back has this chunky rhino graphic, bold but not over the top. It was fun figuring out how to make it feel aggressive and clean.
Sea Link Slammers
This one has a loud, fiery energy. Their kit is a punchy red with black accents — aggressive, slick, and made to pop on the field. Think intensity but still clean. The team was gearing up for their first competitive tourney at sectionals, so the look needed to match that edge.

Bombaes
The team already had a clean aesthetic in mind, so I mostly helped refine it and bring it to life. We kept it super clean, purple and black with a simple wordmark, no fuss. Just a solid jersey that does the job without shouting.
Three teams. Three unique identities. Balancing the visual ideas with legibility and team pride. It was a great mix of creative freedom, problem-solving, and lots of back-and-forths to make sure everyone was hyped with the final output
